A few months ago we had the Asian pear tree taken out, then I ripped out the jasmine, and started a pintrest board to plot out new landscaping in the front of the house. I got pavers, dug out root systems, amended the soil, and procrastinated. Then it started raining, and then it rained some more. This made it very easy to put off committing to new plants.
The rain has let up, I’ve mostly run out of excuses, and I’ve committed to plants.
Don’t ask me what they are, they’re part-shade tolerant, and the tags say low-maintenance and low-water (once they’re established… hopefully they get established). They’re in the ground, but the photos I took of them yesterday didn’t turn out so well, so I’ll try again another time.
