October is now upon us, so the carrot people have transitioned off the nature table, as have St. George and the Dragon, and we’ve changed up the silks a little as well. In their place we have felted wool pumpkins (made at parent evenings) and an Autumnal Gnome that Oliver made a few years ago when he was a Rosebud (preschooler), and some leaf sprites.
We also have the Gnome Family, they’ve moved to the top of the “hill” near the wooden tree.
There is also a little bear, and a wild-haired gnome next to the pine cone.
The boys have been playing with it, so far the mouse has attacked the bear because the bear was “going to eat the pumpkins!” Creative play indeed.
