After the boys went to bed the stockings were stuffed and placed in the Harvard Chair. The chair worked nicely: we don’t have a chimney, or enough stocking hangers, and once they were loaded they were too heavy to hang safely anyway.
The stockings held up a nice amount of loot.
Once the stockings were up the presents came out.
The train table also holds a nice amount of loot (and keeps the floor clear for P’s rolling). We wrapped everything -I’ve got about 100 more yards of wrapping paper and I’m not going to buy more until I use it all up- besides, part of the fun of presents is unwrapping them. Our tree might not be the biggest, but I’m pretty sure the boys will be appropriately thrilled in the morning.
