This morning, after Oliver went off to his play group and Patrick went down for a nap, I went into the office to file the mountain of stuff-to-be-filed that has accumulated in the last three months, then I saw the crop circle in the orchard behind the house.
The outerspacelings have landed in Sebastopol.
Thankfully, this group of outerspacelings was polite: they didn’t take down any trees, they just flattened the weeds into a not-quite-circular pattern and left again.
As crop circles go, this one is fairly pathetic. It is unlikely the experts and documentary film makers will rush to the back orchard to document this event, so I decided to, incase they come back.
Maybe next time they’ll be more creative.
