O has his own iPod (I think it is Gavin’s old one, my old one is used for audio books), he’s had it for a while now, it sits on his bookshelf plugged into a power adapter (it no longer holds a more than an hour or so of charge), and some old speakers that I picked up at BigLots (or some such similar place) back in high school.
O’s iPod is loaded with MiniMusic tunes, Chopin fur Mein Baby, Amazon downloads of German children’s music, and a wide variety of other stuff that O has shown interest in. He can’t reach it on his own, but he can maneuver his chair to gain access to the buttons.
I’m fairly sure the music is secondary to the cool buttons. O enjoys spinning the click wheel and pressing and hearing the clicking noise, he can go forward and back in his music library, and adjust the volume. He can pick songs and adjust settings, although I’m fairly sure this is unintentional.
