Oliver’s room is an evolving process: he grows, it changes, things are added, things are taken away, and occasionally his parents get around to hanging posters that have been sitting in the corner since they moved in.
We’ve rotated the crib 90 degrees to allow for more floor space and the rocking chair has moved back for late-night rocking. The ABC poster is finally hung, and O took a liking to the fauxterflies so we’ve hung them over the crib as well. O also has a new fun floor mat from Ikea, which is larger than I anticipated it would be, but we like it because it covers the drab practical brown carpet.
The huge solar system mobile continues to dominate the corner and hang over the little table and chairs. The jellyfish print from the Monterey Bay Aquarium has finally found a home under the origami sail boats.
The little table is great for climbing and working on the number puzzle, the small bookcase is also within reach.
