I just wanted to pose the Little O for our Christmas postcard so I could get it finished up and ordered before December, so I pulled out some Christmas stuff (the red felt tree skirt, the fake tree, some dorky Christmas themed hats) and set them up with the little wooden train.
Oliver saw the tree and recoiled in terror.
We know which photo is NOT going on our Christmas card this year.
Eventually we’ll get a good photo for our card.
Smart kid – he’s recoiling in horror at the faux vegetation that mocks the slaughter of innocent coniferous saplings around the world. In fact, it inspires me. I may just have to post about this… small children instinctively understand the ramifications of commercialized holidays!
